The Last day to turn in all raffle tickets is July 31, 2024, by 4 pm to Ontario Community Library.  No tickets will be accepted after this time. All contest winners will be drawn at 4:30 pm on July 31, 2024.

Instructions

2024 Children's Reading /Listening  Raffle  Instructions and Tickets

Participants must be between the ages of 0 – 12 years. Participants must be registered with the online system or in person at the library.  Child may only be registered once.  Children who do not have a personal Library card may use a Parent/Guardians/ Family card to register online for the program.

Each ticket is worth 4 hours of reading or listening and is good for a chance to win one of the baskets on display at the library and on the website.  Each box along the side of the ticket is worth 30 minutes. Complete all 8 boxes to use ticket. (Total of 4 hours per ticket.) 

Fill out each ticket completely and clearly. Phone numbers must be current.  (If we are unable to notify a winner, a new winner will be chosen.) Turn tickets in to your Library or place them in an envelope and put them in your Library’s Book Drop.   All materials must be at participants reading level and borrowed (a minimum of overnight) from a Library or the Libby app. (This includes audiobooks, eBooks and magazines.)

NOTE:   Individuals who wish to keep reading after finishing the first page of tickets, will be given a new sheet at the library. There is no limit to how many tickets a child can put in as long as all reading/listening is completed for each ticket. Children's Extra Reading

Extra Reading Instructions

After children ages 0 – 12 have completing their first sheet  they may keep reading for more tickets if they choose. 

 

Children's Second Sheet/Extra Reading  Instructions and Tickets

Print this Extra Reading sheet or receive one from your librarian. Keep track of your reading just like you did with the first sheet. Extra Reading Tickets will be for the same basket as the first sheet.

Adults and Teens (13 and up)

Adult and Teen  Reading Raffle Instructions and Tickets

Participants must be 18 years old or older and signed up for the program. Participants must register with the online system or in person at their library. (Individuals can only be registered once - online OR in the library.)

For each book read, the participant will receive one raffle ticket.  That raffle ticket will go in a bucket for a chance to win the advertised prizes in the participants age group.  Fill out each ticket completely and clearly. Phone numbers must be current.  Remember to circle your age group – Teen or Adults. (If we are unable to notify a winner, a new winner will be chosen.)Turn tickets in to Library or place in an envelope and put in the Book Drop.

All materials must be at participants reading level and borrowed (a minimum of overnight) from your Library or Libby app. (This includes audiobooks, eBooks and magazines.)  There are no limits to the number of books read and tickets put in for the drawings by each participant. Tickets are available at the library or reprint this page here at www.ontariocommunitylibrary.org.
